| Baked banana custard |
| Ripe banana dessert. |
What you need....
- 4 oz. breadcrumbs
- 4 bananas, ripe
- 1 pint milk
- 1 lime
- 3 eggs
- 5 tbs. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. grated nutmeg

How to prepare...
- preheat the over at 350°F / 175°C
- remove the threads from the bananas and crush
- add 2 tablespoons sugar, the nutmeg and the juice of the lime
- place in a buttered dish and cover it with the bread crumbs
- beat the eggs, add the rest of the sugar and continue beating
- heat the milks and add it to the eggs, slowly stirring
- pour this over the bananas mixture in the dish
- add a grate of nutmeg
- bake in the over until the custard is cooked
