| Mince and cornmeal |
| Cornmeal with beef and garlic |
What you need....
- 2 tbs. cooking oil
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 stalk escallion, chopped
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 cooking tomatoes, chopped
- 1 sprig thyme
- 3 1/2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cornmeal

How to prepare...
- toss the mince and seasoning in a frying pan with hot oil for 3
minutes
- add boiling water
- moisten the cornmeal with 1/2 cup cold water
- add to the pan and stir until thickened
- simmer for 15 to 20 minutes
- serve hot with tomato slices
