| Cornmeal slices |
| A nice side dish for sausages or frankfurters |
What you need....
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, powdered
- 4 tbs. milk powder, skimmed
- 3 cups boiling water
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 tbs. butter or margarine

How to prepare...
- mix the cornmeal with the salt, cinnamon and milk powder in a small
bowl
- stir in 1 cup of cold water
- pour this mixture into boiling water in a saucepan, stirring constantly
- cook over medium heat, still stirring until mixture thickens
- reduce the heat, simmer over 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
- then cool, slice and fry.
- serve with sausages or frankfurters
