Corn pudding
A filling meal
What you need....
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tbs. butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups corn kernels
  • 1 tsp. salt
How to prepare...
  1. preheat the over at 350°F / 175°C
  2. scald the milk in a saucepan
  3. add the butter and stir to melt it
  4. butter a half-quart casserole
  5. beat the eggs slightly and stir in the milk, sugar, corn and salt
  6. pour the mixture into the casserole and place it in a shallow pan on an oven rack
  7. pour hot water in the pan around the casserole to 1 inch deep
  8. bake it for about 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean
