What you need....
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tbs. butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 cups corn kernels
- 1 tsp. salt

How to prepare...
- preheat the over at 350°F / 175°C
- scald the milk in a saucepan
- add the butter and stir to melt it
- butter a half-quart casserole
- beat the eggs slightly and stir in the milk, sugar, corn and salt
- pour the mixture into the casserole and place it in a shallow pan
on an oven rack
- pour hot water in the pan around the casserole to 1 inch deep
- bake it for about 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center
comes out clean
