| Corn and bean casserole |
| Tasty recipe with mayonnaise and Worcestershire sauce |
What you need....
- 1 tin whole kernel corn
- 1 tin butter beans
- 4 medium tomatoes
- 3 1/2 tbs. onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 lb. butter
- 3 1/2 tb sp. mayonnaise
- 2 1/2 ozs. fresh breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg, white
- 1/2 tsp. minced parsley
- rashes of bacon
- salt and pepper (based on your taste)

How to prepare...
- preheat the over at 375°F / 190°C
- drain the corn and beans, mix together
- put both in a buttered casserole
- skin the tomatoes and cut them into thick slices
- arrange the slices on top of the corn and beans
- top this with the chopped onion
- dot with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste
- cut the bacon into small pieces and arrange this over the onion
- bake in the oven for about 20 minutes
- remove from the oven
- blend together the mayonnaise, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce
and the paprika
- beat egg white until stiff and fold into the mayonnaise mixture
- scoop this on top bacon and sprinkle on parsley
- return to the oven and bake until the egg mixture is firm and browned
lightly on top
