| Stuffed breadfruit |
| Another fantasize-seasoned filled breadfruit recipe |
What you need....
- 1 (or 2, or 3, or...) full, but not ripe, breadfruit
- 3/4 lb. minced beef
- 3/4 lb. minced ham
- small amount of pickled meat (optional)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 stalk escallion, chopped
- 2 tsp. butter
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- salt and pepper (based on your taste)

How to prepare...
- preheat the over at 375°F / 190°C
- peel and parboil the breadfruit whole in salted water
- lightly fry the chopped onion, escallion and tomato in butter
- add this to the minced meat (beef, ham and pickled) and cook until
the meat almost is done
- cool the breadfruit and from stalk end, cut out the core and scoop
some of the inside
- fill the cavity you created with the meat mixture
- bake in the oven for about 50 minutes or till it is soft and got
a nice golden brown color
