| Baked chicken with mushrooms |
What you need....
- 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 3 pounds chicken, cup up and skinned
- 2 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp. cooking oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano, dried
- hot cooked rice

How to prepare...
- preheat the over at 350°F / 175°C
- place the mushrooms in a lightly greased baking dish
- arrange the chicken over the mushrooms
- combine the cornstarch and water in a small bowl, stirring until it is smooth
- stir in the oil and the other ingredients
- pour this mix over the chicken in the baking dish
- do not cover and bake in the oven for about 2 hours or until the chicken is cooked
- serve with the hot rice
