| Lamb and pork meat from the oven |
What you need....
- 10 medium onions, minced
- 8 or 10 large tomatoes, sliced
- 6 to 8 potatoes, pared and sliced
- 5 lamb chops
- 5 pork chops
- 1 eggplant
- 6 green peppers
- 1 cup diced okra
- 2 tsp. butter
- 1/2 cup uncooked rice
- salt and pepper (based on your taste)

How to prepare...
- preheat the over at 450°F / 230°C
- cover a bottom of roaster with onions, arrange half of tomatoes on the onions
- spread rice over the tomatoes
- add potatoes
- add the chops, alternating pork and lamb
- pare and dice the eggplant
- remove the seeds from the pepper and cut it into fine rings
- cover the chops with diced eggplant and sliced peppers
- add another layer of sliced tomatoes and top with the okra
- sprinkle it with salt and pepper and dot it with the butter
- cover roaster and bake it in the very hot oven for about 1 hour
- remove the cover from the pan ad continue roasting in a moderate oven at 350°F / 175° C
