| Devilled egg and shrimp casserole |
| Shrimps baked in the oven with egg and cheese. |
What you need....
- 6 hard-cooked eggs
- 2 tsp. mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp. mustard
- few grains pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups cooked shrimp
- 3 tsp. butter
- 4 tsp. flour
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 pound buttered crumbs

How to prepare...
- cut eggs into halves and remove the yolks
- mash the yolks and mix it with the mayonnaise, mustard, pepper and 1/4 teaspoon salt
- fill the whites with the mixture and arrange with cleaned shrimp in buttered baking dish
- melt the butter and add the flour and the remaining salt
- add the milk gradually and cook in a double boiler until thickened, stirring constantly
- then add the cheese and stir until it is melted
- pour over the eegs and shrimp and cover it with buttered crumbs
- bake in a moderate oven at 350°F / 175°C for about 35 minutes
- garnish the dish with devilled eggs, green pepper rings and parsley
