| Corn chowder |
| A delicious corn chowder with pork. |
What you need....
- 2 small onions
- 1 lb. salt pork, cut into 1 1/2 cubes
- 2 cups potatoes, diced
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 2 cans cream-style corn
- 2 cups scalded milk
- 3 tsp. butter
- 2 tsp. salt
- pepper (based on your taste)

How to prepare...
- heat the salt pork in a frying pan to release the fat
- sauté the onions in it
- when the onions are soft, add the potatoes and boiling water
- simmer until potatoes are soft
- stir in the remaining ingredients
- heat the soup through and serve
