Folly Estate, Port Antonio. The legend lives on...
Open: Always
Moore Town, impressive history of slavery and rebellion.
You are most welcome to visit, but for more details contact the Jamaica Tourist Board first.
Rio Grande Rafting from Rafter's Restaurant or, even better, from Berridale. The best place for rafting on the island!
Open: Daily from 8:30 till 4:30pm
Reach Falls near Manchioneal. Beautiful falls on a very exotic location. You can swim there to.
Open: Always
Frenchman's Cove and the Blue Lagoon. No wonder filmmakers love this place.
Good spots for swimming, snorkeling and diving!

 1 I Love Portland
Written by Janeen Johnson, on 03-04-2008 23:02
I absolutely adore Portland. I live in Jamaica and the first time I went to Portland , I fell in love with it. It's a very beautiful Parish . I hate the fact that the roads are usually in poor condition but as soon as you get to Portland , it's worth every minute of the bumpy drive.

Spicy Boston Jerk
Jerk pork -or chicken- can be found in all parishes of Jamaica. Jerk is nothing more than a well balanced hot combination of herbs and spices. It taste terrific, we can tell you that.
In Boston beach they serve the best Jerk you ever tasted. Well, according to the locals of course...
But we have to admit: It really taste good and... hot! Take a drink with you if you are going to try this spicy food!
