Much Reggae & Much Jamaica.

That National Heroes' Day on the third Monday of October is a public holiday?
That you don't need visa for entering Jamaica if you are from Europe, the US, Canada or Mexico?
That Blue Mountain Peak is 7402 feet high?
That the Jamaican Dollar is called "Jay" by the locals?
That "Hey Whitey!" means "Hi, good to see you!"?

Jamaican law only requires 24-hour residency on the island. Apply for a license before you arrive if you want to get married just after the 24-hour period. This means make arrangements beforehand through your hotel or travel agency or you may apply direct at the Ministry of National Security and Justice, 12 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston, phone 876-922-0080-9.

Red Stripe is the beer of Jamaica. Brewed by Desnoes & Geddes Ltd. in Kingston (and Charles Wells Ltd. in the United Kingdom) Red Stripe is light, crispy and refreshing. A perfect partner for Jerk or a spicy meal. And if you are not hungry Red Stripe is a delicious cooling-down after a day on the beach!
By the way, if you hear a local ask for a policeman, don't think he is in trouble. He only wants a beer...
